What to Expect:Modesty
Many people
wonder about how much clothing they should remove, and what will be
worked during the session. Traditionally Massage is a full-body
treatment that is received completely nude, and although many people are
comfortable with this, you may not be. You will be draped at all times,
and only the area being worked will be uncovered. You are free to leave
on what ever you need to in order to feel comfortable, and to specify
any part of your body you do not wish to receive work. Pain
Tense
muscles are often sore, and may hurt a little when Massaged. Some
discomfort is not unusual, however it should never be so painful that
you can't take it. Feel free to tell your therapist if you'd like less
pressure, or more. Talking Talking is at the discretion of the client. Some people like a little conversation, while others prefer to just "zone." Gratuities "Am I suppose to tip my therapist?" That is at your personal discretion, however because the therapists only earn a percentage for commission, a $5 or $10 gratuity is quite common if you are happy with your service. How Often? We recommend that people try to incorporate some kind of regular program according to what they can realistically do. Because we are talking about your muscles, their response is similar to exercise. As with exercise, long term improvements are not achieved by running a marathon once a year. Every 2-4 weeks is what we recommend. Insurance Absolute Relief currently does not submit claims to Insurance companies. If you have insurance that covers massage (soft tissue manipulations, or Myotherapy) you will be provided with documentation and receipts so your provider may reimburse you. What NOT to expect...We here Absolute Relief are Professional Massage Therapists, NOT ESCORTS! While it may be true that some individuals or businesses use massage as a front for providing certain adult companionship services, those types of services are unlawful, unprofessional, and not available here. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy regarding impropriety of any kind. |
